Love You More Designs
Love You More Designs is a jewelry social enterprise based in my hometown, Danville, CA. It focuses on selling products crafted by women in Mexico, with a portion of the revenue being returned to the artisans who create them.
In 2023, Love You More Designs sought to expand beyond its Bay Area clientele and traditional brick-and-mortar operations by establishing a foothold in e-commerce. As the Marketing and Communications Intern, I revamped the brand’s digital marketing and social media strategies to address our target audience of women of all ages. This revamp ultimately led to increased brand revenue, geographic and age expansion among customers, and a 20% increase in social media engagement.

Unifying Text & Color
Solidifying brand aesthetics that could be used as anchors in every piece of messaging to create brand iconography.

My main responsibility during this internship was leading the redesign of Love You More's Social Media and Digital Marketing strategy. I developed and led four strategic initiatives to address key pain points identified through data analysis and additional market research. These initiatives both improved overall brand health and played key roles in expanding the brand’s e-commerce business:
1. Refine the Brand Aesthetic:
Establish a consistent color palette and typography across all content to create a cohesive and recognizable visual identity. This will strengthen the brand’s iconography and reinforce its core themes for consumers.
2. Broaden Clientele Demographics:
Focus on segmenting audiences and developing tailored marketing strategies to reach new demographics. Improve the posting schedule to effectively engage different social media audiences and expand the brand’s reach beyond the Bay Area.
3. Enhance Brand Perception:
Invest in high-quality photography and polished visuals to elevate the brand’s appearance. By aligning with industry standards and showcasing professional images, the brand can attract greater social media engagement. Additionally, design jewelry collections tailored to newfound audience preferences. This will help strengthen brand identity, increase customer engagement, and drive sales by aligning designs with current trends and consumer interests.
4. Explore New Marketing Channels:
Diversify marketing efforts both online and offline to attract and retain customers. Introduce referral and loyalty programs, and host experiential events in the Bay Area to strengthen relationships with loyal customers and expand the brand's presence.
The four initiatives resulted in a 20% increase in user engagement, an expanded clientele across the United States, and a polished, cohesive brand identity for Love You More. My experience leading the redesign of Love You More's social media and digital marketing strategy demonstrates my ability to identify goals and target audiences, leverage data, lead teams, and work cross-functionally.
Below are examples of marketing content I created at Love You More, including graphics developed for social media channels and print collateral.
Here is an example of a product launch that I owned and executed during my internship.
Love You More: Silk Pajama Product Launch
In July 2023, Love You More launched a new line of Silk Pajamas, expanding its growing clothing collection. The release targeted young women ages 15-25, a demographic that had not previously engaged with the brand’s apparel.
As the Marketing and Communications Intern, I played a key role in planning and executing the product launch on social media. To ensure its success, I developed a cross-functional strategy that involved collaboration with various creatives. Here’s a breakdown of the steps I took:
1. Concept Development:
Partnered with my supervisor to understand the product’s features, conducted market research to identify the target audience, and analyzed the competitive landscape. I also created a mood board to guide content creation.
2. Creative Collaboration:
Worked closely with photographers, stylists, and models to craft a cohesive aesthetic for the product imagery. I oversaw content development for social media, the website, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with the brand’s tone and visual identity.
3. Marketing & Communication Plan:
Developed a content calendar for pre-launch teasers, launch announcements, and post-launch engagement. I wrote compelling product descriptions and social media captions designed to generate excitement and emphasize key product features.
4. Launch Execution:
Managed the release of digital content across multiple platforms, strategically timing posts for maximum reach and engagement. I also engaged with the audience through behind-the-scenes content and interactive stories to boost interaction.
5. Post-Launch Engagement & Analysis:
Monitored social media engagement, website traffic, and sales performance to assess the launch's success. I gathered feedback for future campaigns and maintained ongoing engagement to nurture brand loyalty.

Organization played a key role in the launch's successful completion. To maintain clarity and structure, I developed a detailed project timeline that defined milestones and shared it with all relevant parties to track progress and ensure deadlines were met. Additionally, I maintained regular communication with senior leaders to stay aligned with overall objectives, promptly address challenges, and make necessary adjustments to keep the campaign on track.
When assessing data post-product launch, Love You More saw an increase in our target demographic engaging with Pajamas-related content, as well as an increase in Pajamas purchases from the target audience. Additionally, the brand saw an overall increase in social media engagement. This product launch demonstrates my ability to strategize creative campaigns, organize and lead multiple teams, and analyze data to measure success and refine strategies. It highlights my skill in crafting targeted messaging that resonates with key audiences, driving both engagement and sales. This experience reinforced my ability to manage complex projects, adapt to evolving insights, and deliver impactful results through cross-functional collaboration.
